You need an engine oil that meets the Ford 913B or 913C specification.
http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-698-wss-m2c-913-b.aspx http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-1251-wss-m2c-913-c.aspx They are all fine for normal use in your Defender. I don't have the capacity listed, but I think it's about 8L. You need a 75w-90 for the gearbox, transfer box and diffs and here are the ones we have. http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-673-75w-90-mtf...fluid.aspx If you want to go for the best, the Millers CRX 75w-90 NT, Gulf Competition, Motul Gear 300, Red Line MT90 and Millers TRX are ideal for the gearbox. The Castrol Universal/Universal Plus/Syntrans Multivehicle, Motul Motylgear and Fuchs Gear Syn are all decent alternatives. The Fuchs Syn 5, Millers CRX, Redline 75w-90 GL5, Motul Gear 300 and Gulf Competition are ideal for the diffs and transfer box. The Fuchs Sintopoid, Castrol Syntrax Longlife, Millers TRX, Motul Motylgear, Mobil SHC and Amsoil FGR are also good choices. The gearbox takes 2.2L, rear diff 1.7-2.3L, front diff 1.7L and transfer box 2.3L. The Motul Inugel Optimal or Fuchs Fricofin LL Orange are ideal for the cooling system, it takes 10L. http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-458-coolant-antifreeze.aspx Here are the filters that we have. http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-840-filters.aspx Cheers Tim Use the code DEF2 and get 10% Club Discount View Opie Oils Current Offers Here > > oilman's website: http://www.opieoils.co.uk/ - register for news and offers email: sales@opieoils.co.uk phone: 01209 202944 |
