It's a lockable safe that fits under the cubby. Not only is it lockable but, installed correctly, nobody knows it's there. ![]() + New Defender 110 First Edition |

no, under your cubby box is your transfer box, but the undercubby box brings a standard LR cubby box up by about 100mm so it's also an arm rest they are on ebay or from www.offroadservice.de (see http://www.shop.offroadservice.de/popup_image.php?pID=316) |

Hi
very nice truck. I have had a look on the web site for the parking sensors. I am going to buiy the same set you have, but I notice from the Dolphin website that the sensors may not work properly if mounted on steel. Is this correct? I was thinking about mounting the outer two as you have, on the ally panel, and the inner two straight onto the rear crossmember. Or is this why you have mounted the inner ones on brackets? Thanks mike |

Here in Australia Mulgo sells on which is more useful than the usual safe - called an "ExBox" - with mounts to take the ABS and relays from under the drivers seat. This allows you to free up that space for storage, plus there is room left over in the ExBox after fitting the components for some storage plus it locks. I mounted those parking sensors a couple of weeks ago - thanks DG for the inspiration - it took me about an hour (mostly because a passing workman was absolutely fascinated and wanted a blow by blow account).
They're absolutely fabulous - I would say a must-have addion for everybody. Even more so at £30! Found their limitation this morning though: was relying on them and reversed into a lamp post. No damage , of course. I only fitted 2 sensors and it's my own stupid fault for not paying attention. They really come into their own when reverse parking. Awesome!
