downpipe to 300tdi
hello!

Im replacing shot turbo and thougt was to chage to an decat pipe as well. I did try to get old out, and ended to cut it out with a grinder.

question: Im suppose to get decat pipe in place witout removing anything? rave says to remove only exhaust support bracket...!

Vehicle is 130 300tdi.

Jack up the car so the N/S/F wheel is just off the ground you may need to jack up the axle between the diff and the O/S/F wheel to allow the N/S/F wheel to hang but please use axle stands under the chassis aswell then turn the front pipe whilst feeding it through between the front axle and bumper then once the front part of the front pipe is fully through it should be in the right place to fix to the manifold and exhaust then remove axle stands and lower the car down.

another way is to just remove the gearbox X member but depending on con'd cant always undo the bolts without snapping but if you can it is a safer way but more fiddly, hope this helps Smile Graham
