United Kingdom 1994 Defender 90 V8 Petrol SW Corris Grey
New Product Announcement - SMD/CREE bulbs for Defender
For some time now we have been growing our range of LED/SMD products and like many have managed to purchase some rubbish (fortunately in small quantities) In recent months we have found a manufacturer that makes these units to a very high standard and is far superior to anything found on that well known auction site, nicely machined, no hint of cheapness or lack of design Very Happy

We had concentrated on newer types of bulbs and have sold bucket loads of these on the Disco 3 forum (of which I know some of you frequent as well)

Anyway today we have taken a delivery of bulb types more suited to the Defender

You can find them all here: http://www.advancedfactors.co.uk/01-led--smd-products-250-c.asp
(look for the pairs of bulbs in the blister packs, they are our latest arrivals.

These are all lovely little bits of engineering and do exactly what you want them to do!

The 207 style white sidelight is very white with no blue tinge, 5630SMDs around the sides and a forward facing CREE

The 380 style Stop & Tail light has bright Red 5630SMDs around the sides and an even brighter forward facing Red CREE (2 power levels of course)

The 382 style Indicator has Amber 5630SMDs around the sides and a very bright Amber forward facing CREE.

Trust me, having batch tested a load of these, you don't want to stare at them for long!

It was just mentioned to me that you could most likely change all of your lens caps to clear if you wanted to as these already light up in the correct colours

To top it off we also have a 272 festoon style interior bulb with bright 5630SMDs

So if you want to see and be seen, these are for you.

Postage charge is £3.95 which barely covers a jiffy bag by recorded delivery Paul Redding

What about SVX style front lights?
How does the MOT react on these?

Are the indicator ones ok for the front clear lenses
With the off set pins and do you know if the rear amber ones are straight pins I'm guessing ? It's good to be back from the dark side

MOT requirements will ignore the fact that these are LEDs at present, what they will look for is blue tint to the white light and any form of flickering, you have nothing to worry about these, there is no hint of boy racer about them.

Indicators - We only have straight pin Amber. Will sort an offset out on the next order. Paul Redding
