I tried our local forum but have had no replies yet.
I cannot get an equivalent to Texaco Molytex EP00 as per the manual in our country. Tried Castrol/Caltex/Mobil here with no luck. Do you guys have this product locally or do you have other equivalents similar? I assume the TD5 must have had a similar grease Thanks Last edited by CapeLandy on 25th May 2010 12:48pm. Thanks. never thought of trying the dealer route. I guess that it is such a small quantity they can't possibly charge the earth for it.
I just want to open my filler plug and make sure there is some still in there as opposed to in the diff through the seals. Last oil change revealed quite a bit of grease in the diff oil. |

As above, the one-shot greasers are about £5 each. Each one contains enough to completely repack the swivel housing. Always got a couple on the shelf - just haven't had the need to use them myself yet (although my old neighbour kept nicking them hence my "stock control")
