I've got mud stuff ones, and they are good kit. But think exmoor now do adjustable tilting ones.

I have no experience of the competition, but, the Mud Stuff ones really do the job & couldn't have been easier to install.
Do yourself a favour though - buy 2 sets 'cos your Co-Pilot is going to demand equality! ![]() |

I made my own, then modified them to shift the seat closer to the middle by 30mm as well. I now drive my Defender without being cramped up against the door pillar.

I have fitted mud rails to all my Defenders, if you are my way you are welcome to try them. I should get around to fitting the second set to the passenger side some time.

Did have the mud ones, but like you wanted to adjust angle as well. replaced them with the Exmoor ones and no problem. Quite a lot of adjustment for, aft and angle, but very difficult to re-adjust as you have so many angle adjustments having to be made with 4 bolts. Still the best one though

To adjust the angle on mine I just put in spacers between the box section runner and the seatbox, much along the lines of the spacers put there when the motor was built at Lode Lane.

I do not think the new style Exmoor Trim ones have the tilt adjustment - just a fancy grill on the side
Please correct me if I am wrong They are a lot more than the mud ones to do the same job JWL how did you adjust yours sideways ? - any chance of a picture ? |

Boode,
You're referring to the wrong ones. The correct ones are Exmoor Adjustable Seat Risers EXT-010-5. They have adjustments front and back to give different angles. The ones you refer to are just glorified MUD ones which have the side plate and Exmoor logo. These over time will cut into the sides of the seat as you get in and out of the Defender which isn't good. I will put a photo on to show. |

You can just fit a bunch of washers to the rear bolts to raise the seat over the back of the joint
