Pinion part number?
Greetings from Oz, just wondering if anyone can help me with the part number for the rear diff pinion oil seal for a 2010 puma. Local supplier here insisted it's STC4401 but that looks to be for the salsibury axle 99-02. The part numbers I can come up with is either FTC5258 or FRC8220. Which is the correct one? and what's the difference between the two?

If it's a 110 or 130 the rear diff will be the P38-type unit with 4 differential gears (known mysteriously as a "4-pin" diff) and the seal is FTC4851.

I haven't checked the part numbers you quote but I suspect they're for the Rover pattern diff (as used in the rear of the 90), not the P38.
