Quick Question on Steering Dampers
Is it worth spending £100 on an Old Man Emu steering damper, or there lees expensive options just as good or is they a more expensive option which is far superior?, or should I stick to the LR steering damper because they don't make that much difference to the steering feel especially when driving mostly on road.
Michael JE Zulu 110 now sold
Carpathian 110 also sold
Defender 110 camper now in build

I have the OME (for bigger wheels and off road) and the LR OE damper is perfectly good IMO Puma 110" SW

Standard wheels standard damper should be fine (not Sh*tpart) big wheels bigger damper OME, Bilstien etc.

don't have any pics
but standard set up in front of axle
and one on the link rod ( between wheels ) behind axle mounted off the diff nose
I found having one fitted behind is much more inline with link and more positive in stopping wheel wobble mainly bump steer

because the front one is at a angle and not inline with front link you lose a bit of dampening effect
