Storage idea if you have a dog guard..




This is a pretty handy way to store kit in the back of a Defender with a dog guard.

Ex-military rucksack side pouches, often called "rocket pouches" can be attached to the guard using the 2 clips at the top of the pouch and the clip and adjustable strap at the bottom.

If you are buying them from Ebay make sure the top 2 buckles have the male and female bits of the 2 top clips. You can use other straps to hold them on but it's not as convenient

You can have a whole row if you like! 300 TDi 110 CSW

I used to use the same Otter.

I also have 2 of these, one on the mantec mesh guard on the back window, good for leaving the keys. torch, lighter for cooker, spork and normally a dish cloth and another high up on the dog guard on the 2nd row seats side which had a soft case first aid kit in and UK OS maps. Made by Coleman, about £15-20 each.

Camping shop near me, they do have a website http://www.campingandleisure.co.uk/, don't know if they sell these on line.

However also on ebay for £2.99 + £2.50 p&p (nothing to do with me!)

Ditto, had these in the back of my Defenders for 2 decades! I also have a PRC 351 ancils bag in the back door for odds and ends.

I cable tied a "boot tidy" to my dog guard.

Always found the old respirator haversack a most useful size, readily available and very cheap - and will clip to dog guards very easily
