Water ingress , but where?
Hiya,

I have managed to check, double check and triple check the driver front door , no chance water enter from there.
I found every now and again the driver carpet soaked on the LHS from just under the pedal to the seat
Any idea? I have removed the carpet and I have noted that behind the plastic bit under the pedals there is some foam?
I thought to 2 possible way of ingress : 1) Wheel Arch? 2) Bonnet ?

I have a late 2006 TD5 110

Any help Bow down ?

Pedal box to bulkhead may be leaking.

Or it may even be the windscreen frame to bulkhead seal leaking and the water running down.

Or the seals on the front air vents might need replacing.

PM me your email and I'll send you the Land_Rover_Defender_Water_Ingress_Manual.pdf"

To check if it's the screen that's leaking.....
Wait for a rainy day (shouldn't be too long Rolling Eyes )
Put some kitchen wiper on the dashtop so about an inch is going down the gap between the windscreen and the dash. Check that it's below the bottom of the windscreen and above the scuttle vents.
If it gets wet it's the screen.
