Drivers door required in good straight rust/corrosion free state preferably silver but can have painted

Alloy or steel door,they changed them bout 05-06.Not got either BTW,just sayin. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.

Ah, cheers for info.. Mines is an 02, am I right in thinking its steel frame alloy skin? What would be the better door to have? Also I notice on the tdci defenders the tops of the door frames are press instead of welded, what's the advantages if any?

Yeah, yours is steel frame alloy skin, I believe the later all steel doors are the best they dont seem to crack (probably coz it's a pressed frame) or rust as quick. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.

Anyone know which bits will transfer from the older steel frame/ali skin to the newer doors?

Will the winders, handles, seals, glass, door card fit or are they different?

Yes they are different....
Door cards are different on the later doors as the doors are all steel. The profile on the actual door card is slightly different. Please read the comments in the following link:
