Depends if you can find a buyer that appreciates early originality, and has deep pockets I suspect Laughing Darren

Something of this vintage warrants photos of chassis and bulkhead. They would be my first port of call - everything else is easy. Very Happy

Defender (I include pre Defender in this) prices are always a tough one. It just depends on what people are looking for, and if they find it. At first glance, I would have said that was a bit steep, but to really truly be sure of that, a more extensive look at the chassis and bulkhead would be required.

Edit, the pictures on the face of it suggest the bulkhead is sadly rotten.

I am very interested in this vehicle from a curiosity stand point, sadly I cannot afford it though.

I am just curious about that out of comparison with my old Ninety of the same age.

Whilst it is an early example, it is not super early, because that would be 1983, when the 110 first came out, but yes, it's a rare gem, with the V8 in it, especially Cool

Actually, assuming the registration is in sequence, it's actually into the 3rd year of production... 1998 110 300Tdi White Hard Top

I had a high mileage one owner of the same age in better condition than this one. Took a while to sell and if I'm truthful I think your price is ambitious.

The export market is flat at the moment even for matching number legit cars.

Hope it sells
