Do you mean a steering guard? If so I have a barely used terrafirma steel guard if you're interested.

Hi Jonesie, Only ones that I have been able to find are for 2006 onwards and I don`t know whether they could be modified to suit an earlier model. Chassis is obviously the same so I suppose it would be differences in the depth/shape of the sump that would be the deciding factor. Neutral

I would give Matfords Exeter a ring on that one listed on the Ebay link.

KRB000091 is the engine under tray for TD5's up to 2006, at least it is listed as that in the parts list.

Never seen an engine undertray, were they fitted for particular markets? Pictures of one fitted would be interesting

No under tray on my TD5, and I've had it practically from new so I know it hasn't been removed.

Cheers

Mine had one fitted but it was damaged so I took it off. I'm guessing that it's supposed to be some sort of sound proofing as it's padded on the inner face, but I didn't notice an difference when it was removed.

There's another section under the gearbox too, which is still in place on mine at the moment. Darren

Mine is an XS which had them fitted from new not sure if they came as part of the xs pack.
Recently put it in to an independent for a big service and stamp for the service book and they chose to cut the front on in half..........so they could get to the sump drain plug easier (god bless them!) and also felt that they should leave the rear (gearbox one ) off when they returned it. ( and I am paying them for this..................)
I do notice quite a lot more road noise without them and they seemed to help things warm up quicker. Series I 86" Petrol orig side valve (daily hack)
