Security bonnet hinges
Be looking at some GMB security hinges and the extra jack brackets...

Anyone used these or got any feedback to share.

Al,

Yes, I've had mine for over a year and they are excellent. No sign of corrosion, but just be prepared for the extra weight when lifting the bonnet. Plus, with the right securing nuts they make it very secure. If you get a set then invest in a pair of lockable spinners ie the Thule ones then it is very awkward for the bonnet to be taken off and it secures your jack.

The hinges came with 2 new bolts, 2 security nuts, 2 spacers and 6 nuts for hinges. The 6 bolts were fabricated into the base of the hinges. These bolts are quite long so you can put extra nuts on to tighten in pairs and isolated from the holding nuts. The jack extension brackets come with 4 Allen bolts and are very difficult to get access to especially when you've got a jack locked on.
If you get a set I would highly recommend you put a layer of marine quality sealant(silva flex 252i or equiv.) between the brackets and bonnet.
