Sorry, just realised that you're not including the tyres.

Rolling with laughter You'd be lucky to get a set of standard Boosts with tyres for £500, let alone Zus with tyres.

In my opinion, if its second hand, its half price. Didn't think my mistake wld have had anyone rolling around on the floor laughing to be honest.

Don't really want to derail this thread but I'm sort of with Bows on this one. New set of Zus are "only" £100 more and no scratches (no matter how minor).... To include tyres for that price might be pushing it but I don't reckon it should be too far off. Second hand = half-price is my starting point rule of thumb too, although there are always exceptions for exotica etc.

I guess it comes down to what people are prepared to pay.

The wheels cost around £160 when new plus the wheel nuts, all in all around £750 worth. Yeah, the wheels are up for £500 but as stated I'm open to sensible offers and the price will include the nuts which are probably worth between £20-£40.

I can't make people buy them but I could spend £20 and refurb the 4th wheel and make it like new. However I figure its best to be honest and describe the wheels as they are rather than jolly them up and disguise the scratches.

They are what they are.......and still available Smile

It's 'your opinion' it should be half price? Yes it is worth a chuckle (maybe not a roll around laugh perhaps for which I sincerely, wholeheartedly and unreservedly apologise) especially five days after the original post where it stated the tyres were not included you came up with the following...

If the wheels AND tyres had been up for £500 they would have gone like a shot. I would have bought them at that price and I don't even need or want them.

Anything for sale is only worth what the buyer is prepared to pay and I think they are reasonably priced and of course 'open to sensible offers.' Obviously they're not for you and you did the right thing and walked away. No point quipping about the price then is there?

Good luck in your hunt for wheels...... Cool

Good luck with the sale. Thumbs Up If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Well said Thumbs Up

I did idly "view" those in the presence of MrsH but its a no Crying or Very sad as I'd probably need different tyres to the standard ones as well and the originals are still too good to change.

Would have been handy as they are local as well.

Good luck with the sale!

Sorry, you're missing my point, my comment regarding the value of second hand was in relation to the wheels, I know that vehicles, plant etc are different, as is property and land etc. Please don't tell me what to try and buy, I don't need your advice. I'm not going to comment on this again.

Good luck with the sale
