Defenders in Cape Town
Here's a few from in and around Cape Town on my current trip. I'm quite surprised just how many I've seen. Probably more on a daily basis than I see in the UK:

Pete, there's way more than you think around here.

If I'm not mistaken, per capita, Stellenbosch has the most Defenders in ZA, practically one on every street.

And they only come out to play during the weekend, which means I don't get to wave when commuting during the week Laughing --

I'm down there is just over a week, I love seeing Defenders around, especially as they cruise past the bars in Camps Bay, completely usurping any supercars IMO 2016 D4 HSE

Yes, I think Stellenbosch last weekend is where I really started to notice just how popular Defenders are in SA. I saw what was probably the best condition green 300tdi 90 CSW I've seen since they were new; this thing was in one of those side roads near the university campus and was mint. I also saw a couple with lots of current upgrades like KXB grilles etc.

In Oom Samie Se Winkel (Uncle Samie's Store - excuse my probably incorrect Afrikaans), you can even buy small hand-made wooden Defender models about 8" which were really nice.

I'll carry on looking!
