2008 Defender 110 BMW M57 3.0 Diesel XS CSW Auto Santorini Black

Rear door lock

Hi. The rear door lock on my 110 SW locks itself at will.

I can unlock with the central locking, open the door fine, close the door and then it's locked again! Is there a common problem with springs coming off or anything that could cause this?

I don't know what the answer is, but you do seem to be having a few problems recently!

Have you tried moving the little child lock lever from where it is now? It's just that on Sunday I put my dogs in the back of my 90 and thought I'd flick the child lock on in case they pushed the unlock handle on the door. Then when I tried to get back in it wouldn't open unless I locked with the fob then unlocked again.
