United Kingdom 2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Orkney Grey
[For Sale] Made By Boo Storage Drawer - SOLD
Storage Drawer, as shown on their website here: http://www.madebyboo.co.uk/products.html

This is the 185mm high version which just matches with the lower edge of the wheel arch box in the Puma USW making a level platform through the centre of the vehicle. Length is 1012mm, which fills the rear of the USW behind the second row of seats.

I think mine is the Gloss Black Walnut version, but not quite sure. Construction seems to be MDF - very heavy, but not as impregnable as the MSS style drawers. Has a drawer with a window bolt syle closure and a full length section behind a removable panel so that the drawer can still open even if the door does not open to 90 degrees.

I find it has can slide forwards or backwards slightly on the carpet it is sitting on> I spoke to Made By Boo and they sent some plates to allow it be secured to the original load bay bolt holes - but I never got around to doing this.

Carpeted on the top, some marks from wear and use, but still looks quite good.

£250 collected SOLD - as I said, this is very heavy I don't think I can arrange a courier for this one.

I'm quite interested in this. Do both sides slide out as drawers? Do the drawers function unless they are locked closed I.e no latch? My blog - www.anacreinhampshire.blogspot.co.uk

Drawer on left only, right hand side just has a cavity behind a removable cover.if it was a drawer it would clash with the rear door when opened.
Drawer does not have a latch, just the window bolt to hold it closed. I found if I didn'tuse the bolt that the drawer would open on acceleration and clunk into the rear door.

Thanks Inigo - the lack of a slam latch is a bit of a deal breaker for me - I'd never have the patience to keep a spline key handy! My blog - www.anacreinhampshire.blogspot.co.uk
