2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Tonga Green

2.2 v 2.4 injector noise

I've been told that part of the reason 2.2s are quieter than 2.4s is that the former have less noisy (Piezo) injectors.

How much difference is there? Does the 2.2's DPF filter also baffle engine noise signifigantly? Me too. Think Dgardel attempted to fit the 2.2 cover to his 2.4.

Concerning the noise between 2.4 vs. 2.2 the cover IS the difference.....
