@bm52 looks like an oil catch tank connected to breather and vented to atmosphere through the filler of the can but could be wrong. Looks very cool being an old castrol oil can! 2001 TD5 110 County Station Wagon - sold

That's what I was wondering but that must meant a lot of oil in the breather system
![]() Good bit of inventive 'bodging' by the looks of it BM52 |

Not sure if it is bodging or all the rage to have an unsual container under the bonnet. Cant remember where I see it now but someone was using a jack Daniels bottle for a reservoir for something in a Land Rover. Can someone confirm whether these are Bodges or a new trend of some kind?!

Potter. Very nice mate, & very subtle. What powers the blue one.
I used to crew sometimes on a racing Mini down here in Aus, in the Sports Sedan category. My friend, at one time, had the fastest racing Mini in Aus. I think he was out to 1460cc, coils all round F5000 brakes, massively wide wheels, huge flares etc. I'm not sure whether he was running a cross flow head, but I think he was. Cheers, Pickles. |

My 110 doesn't fit in the garage
I'm not saying what's in my garage but it's British, was made by hand and there are very few of them around now. |
