Chinese made and only a 2 year warranty....

I'd rather keep my JW Speaker lamps with a 4 year warranty Wink

You can see what mine are like next week....

So they should too for the price they are! In fact it should be a 5 year IMO. Whistle

OK, I have not used those lights but there is some rather important information missing in that eBay ad!

It states that the lights are fully waterproof. Tested to what international standard? thrown into a bucket of water!

No IP rating be it IP 67, IP69 or IP6K9K

No mention of light output be it a calculated raw lumens, effective lumens or an actual measured output.

Yes they do state wattage but that is power consumed by the units and is not a measure of the amount of light on the road in front of you. For a light, personally I am interested in the actual light output

Manufacturer is apparently a family firm based in Swindon but the E mark is E4 which is Italy??? Why?

OK at £600 they are cheaper then other LED headlights that forum sponsors are selling. Maybe a case of buyer beware.

I believe those are an older version of Truck Lite LED headlamps. American company, but possibly made in Far East of course. These on sale at ebay are definitely an older version of Truck Lite, I believe Phase 6 or even Phase 5.
Today they have the Truck Lite Phase 7, which is quite popular with our Defender friends in Australia (aulro.com), and those Phase 7 versions are even cheaper there than these on ebay here.
If you search on aulro.com you will find a link to a comparative test of these new Truck Lite Phase 7 headlamps and the Speaker 8700 evo, where the Speaker as to light production, light spread, etc. comes out miles ahead. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

I would stever clear of them bud and save a little harder for the proper ones they are from the other side of the planet and while intended foe RHD vehicles they are probably emitting illegal light the law on LED lighting is quite tight
