Utter rubbish. RIP to the OP's mate and RIDE SAFE to all bikers. And :censored: to all the people like Greeni who think motorcycles are death traps. I met my Mrs after her brother, my mate, was killed on his bike. What did she do after the accident? Bought herself some leathers, a bike and became a biker herself. We've been married 31 yrs and I was biking 10 yrs before that. Sure we've lost friends on bikes but we've also lost friends to car crashes, illness and old age. I'm 56, I know the risks of riding a motorbike as I know the risks of driving, air travel, surfing, climbing or carving through the rush-hour traffic on a fixie. If I high-side the Ducati at a track day and it kills me, so be it. My choice. | ||
