Advice on Mantech storage cage
Whilst at billing yesterday I picked up a set of the Mantech rear storage cages for my 110, to stop bits and bobs falling on the dog. The instructions aren't bad, not that they need to be as it does look very simple, but I have both the LR rubber load mat and sound proofing (SP) in the back.

Do I;

1. Lift both the load mat and SP and bolt directly to the wheel arch?

2. Fit on top of one or both mat and/or SP and bolt through?

I do take the sound proofing out when I'm going laning as its less to clean etc. I don't mind trimming the SP a 10mm or so but trimming the load mat would mean it not sitting up the side of the wheel arch properly.

Bolting through it all would make removing the mat and SP a right effort.

Hopefully I've explained my 'dilemma' clearly as I'm starting to confuse myself.

Advice, as always is appreciated!! Strong people are harder to kill and generally more useful!

Do you need to bolt them down at all?

If they are self supporting then they should be OK for general use and you could always attach a vertical tether to the load restraint D rings to ensure they didn't move at all.
