Women's football
Anyone following the Women's European Cup? It's been surprisingly good Thumbs Up
My son (19) who's training to be a UEFA coach is glued to the telly. However, since he hasn't got a girlfriend at the moment, I'm not convinced its their skills just on the pitch that he's interested in Whistle
England vs. France about to start - could be a pretty good game Thumbs Up Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Yeah - I regret I posted now Laughing
Still, some great action (credit to our awesome goalie) and a few potential French breeders for my grandchildren Wink Tell someone you love them today because life is short.

Good to see England ladies are the equal of the men , all down to the way the English game is structured. Disappointing but where next . Multi million facility at St Georges , state of the art coaching set up , gps trackers , sports science but they played to the standard of my 10 year olds giving the ball away cheaply , not tracking back , diving in and poor decision making in front of goal.

oh well there's always cricket !

What is this "foot ball" of which you speak? Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

It is a game of two halves, where if we had scored we would have won but we just didn't turn up now we are sick as parrots.

I fear Hope Powell was asking the same question last night.

She seems about 10 years out of date with her training methods and the words "step down" were slipped in more than once by the commentators.

JJ - sadly I have to agree with you on all counts. I'm still deaf from my son screaming at the telly. He's had considerable success coaching a couple under 19s women's teams - perhaps he will find a job after all Wink Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
