A basic spares kit for European travel in a 2.4 TDCi
Hello All,

I guess the title says everything. We are off to the Pyrenees in August, towing the Sankey. Any recommendations for a basic(ish) spares kit?

So far i've concentrated on the Sankey - spare pins for the stabilising legs and the Nato hitch etc. What is recommended for the LR?

It is a (very) late model 2.4TDCi 110 USW.

You are never far from spares in the Pyrenees,,

I did buy a full set of coolant hoses, as they are all a very odd shape,, !! plus a alt drive belt California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

Why do you need spare pins? If its fitted correctly as per original spec, all pins are on small SWR ropes so you should never lose any.
Spare hoses as Tim says isn't a bad option. Black tape, spare fuses, set of filters, small selection of fluids, selection of wire and crimps. 110 D250 SE HT

I still carry a fuel filter. on my Disco2, I had a couple of fuel filter issues, so now I carry one as a spare. Not needed yet in the Puma tho, so it'll probably get left behind soon Thumbs Up Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)
