Land Rovers Rock crawl up the Pheasant Steps & Recovery
The final bit of footage from my recent day in Mid Wales. Ever since we crossed Nort 4x4 coming up the Pheasant Steps last year, I’ve wanted to do that myself. Those guys were in much higher specced trucks than us and even they took some damage doing it so I guess you can say we were apprehensive about it. As it turns out it was just a good challenging drive and we all got up it OK. Well I say OK, I’m fairly sure that did for my panhard rod bushes and I ended up needing to get recovered as the Defender 110 wouldn’t go over 20MPH without rattling my teeth out!

Check out my YouTube channel for green laning and Land Rover "how to" videos.

Great films.

Got to get back to Wales for a play.

What editing program are you using for these films?

Power Director 10. It's a bit of a learning curve but well worth the effort. If your looking to start out I'd opt for windows movie maker cos its free. Check out my YouTube channel for green laning and Land Rover "how to" videos.

Movie makers the way to go then. It's a great thing to learn on then if you get into it you can splash on something more powerful. If you have an iPhone or any apple kit iMovie is genius to get something cool looking quickly with minimum fuss! Check out my YouTube channel for green laning and Land Rover "how to" videos.

Very interesting. I use an iPad so will invest in iMovie.

I have a couple of very basic vids taken on my iPad, when mounted to my dash, but need to remove sound, and stitch a few clips together.

Thank you
Andy

iMovie is free on the App Store and definitely the way to go if that's all you need. Check out my YouTube channel for green laning and Land Rover "how to" videos.
