Hi Japseroony

If it feel like it is hesitating, I had the same problem, did it feel that for a split second the power had gone, but it then returns?

If so it is the same problem as is well highlighted on the Transit forums with the same engine, namely EGR valve, after 3 separate trips to LR who were adamant that nothing was showing as fault on their system I took off the EGR, copied the gasket onto a piece of metal from a 5 litre can and then used that instead of the gasket, and hey presto, no more black smoke, pulls all the time and all hesitancy gone.

See the site sponsor for a blanking plate, unless you are tight like me!
