Like the GL solutions alot better - but spending that much seems a bit OTT, especially for a couple of pieces of rubber/plastic that appear to mount to existing bolts/screws.

Surely the Glyn Lewis and MudSfuff parts are solutions to two different problems? There's no reason why you couldn't fit both to good effect?
As for what a Defender is meant to be, the only thing they're meant to be is adaptable for all of the huge variety of things that owners want ot use them for. Sometimes that's muddy and sometimes it isn't  Darren

Looks to me like the 2nd GL mod that moves the mudflaps closer to the wheels would make the mudstuff part redundant - mud only gets to that gap at the front of the door/rear of the wing because the mudflap is set so far back. Whether it's set that far back for a good reason is the issue for me - moving it forward may solve one problem but create a whole new one... |

I totally agree Warpig. Last year when we were in Malvern on hols I gave the 110 a good clean after we got there including tyre dressing - the works. I popped into a caravan supplies place in Hanley Swan for some Elsan blue and the owner strode up to me saying ' Do you ever get that thing dirty ? I thought thats what they were for !' He was obviously admiring it in his carpark. I explained that in the West of Ireland the roads are very mucky so there's no point but when we are on hols its nice to have a shiny Defender - (especially in Malvern as its a bit posh in an old money sort of way). Defenders look amazing when they're clean and shiny |

Anybody fitted a set of these yet? Looks like a neat solution, could do with a set to match at the rear as well (unless these fit the rear as well - would be worth asking) Looks like they would go nicely with the GL mud shields as well

Reckon it is too soon yet. I think they have only just been released looking at the site again! Neat solution though and looks good aswell. Would like to see some more photos of them on different coloured landies to compare the look.

It sounds like a rear set is in the pipeline
also smooth version for colour coding is out shortly - so could well be a good mod.
As far as colour coding goes - whats the plan for painting? special undercoat for plastic I guess? followed by LR rattle can set (looks like that comes with clear coat can as well) Any one with any plastic painting experience care to enlighten us?
