Tayside Chassis Refurb
My Landy's away for long awaited Chassis Refub at Tayside Landrover, Matthew has been great at giving daily updates on progress and photos of the work.
I opted for the Marsland Galvanised Chassis, with new brake system, discs, calipers, flexible hoses, and brake pipes.
New shocks, tubular turrets, same springs, new clutch, front bumper, new intercooler as the original had split.
New fuel filter assembly, the old one had sheared where it met the chassis.
New tubular side steps and rear step/tow bar.
New door hinges, a rear wheel bearing.
The underbody was completely cleaned and treated with black gloop?
Throw in an MOT new windscreen seal and a small bit of welding repair on the bulkhead just below the windscreen and a couple of small holes in the body and it's job done.
Really looking forward to getting it back next week.
If someone can tell me how to upload photos onto here I'll do it.
So if you live in the middle of Scotland and are looking for quality work on your Landy at a sensible price you could do a lot worse than contacting Matthew at Tayside Landrovers Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Progress once more as parts have now arrived.
New windscreen seal installed, new intercooler, NAS step, door hinges to go on after welding on the bulkhead.
Really looking forward to getting it back.
