TD5 EGR Blanking on 1998 TD5
Hi All, will my 1998 TD5 have this EGR feature and should i blank it off if not already done ? Is there an easy way to tell if it has been dome or not, only had my Landy for 4 days Smile Is this OK to purchase ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rover-Defen...2a2ba963cd

HELP......i am not sure where to put the second bung in IRB's EGR blanking kit, one i have placed over the blue pipe that came off the EGR valve, where doed the second one go, i have also removed the electrical cables off the only solenoid...

There are quite a few guides on the web showing you what to do - you have an EU2 engine.

Whats confusing me is the IRB kit is meant to come with a replacement servo hose to eradicate the T junction, mine hasn't got this servo replacement tube, so ATM i have removed the pipe from the t junction and placed the larger bung over that ?

It came with no instructions Sad

the little black bung goes on the airbox where the pipe went, you are right to but the IRB bung on the t piece bit...is that you on 0117 number earlier Putting Dreams on Drives at JLR Solihull..

Hi adafish, yes that was me earlier 0117......you sounded abroad ?

I don't have a pipe going to the airbox at all.......
