I'd be interested in seeing the new step and the old Paddocks one side by side to see how they differ.

OK I fitted these today. They're not stainless steel by the way but they seem good quality - at least as good as the Paddocks ones. Once fitted they sit closer to the vehicle, in line with the mudlaps so they look neat.
I found them difficult to fit compared to the last ones. Firstly me and homemade rivnut tools don't get on but I got there in the end. As ARC99 said you have to cut a lump out of the plastic tray fitted under the seat boxes so out came the Dremel then a jigsaw. I wasn't happy with the bolts that came with it. They're excellent quality but the thread stops 3/4 the way down so there isn't enough of it. I just used 13mm nuts, bolts and washers instead for the 8 holes connecting the top of the steps to the pre drilled holes in the extrusion from the floor. Now that they are fitted they look great. Very cheap and I'd highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of buying them. Sorry no photo yet because the missus is out and she does all that uploading stuff (I've no idea)  |

More functionality and better looking than the old ones when in comparison I'd say.....

 i recon i could   The ones on my site at the minute are the svx ones they are classed as oem but are genuine basically your just not allowed to say that  Im not paying no were near that price for the ones at the minute  CSK Automotive
