Top tips for changing a injector
Hi,

Anybody got any top tips for changing a injector on a P15 TD5? Mines dropped a injector, I've done them before but just wondered what tips people had?

Thanks.

Pete.

Hello,

There is a special tool, although I have never used one.

My tip would be use 2 small prys and ease it out as squarely as possible, it has been mentioned that the head can be cracked by removing the injector. If its all warm this should help.

Thanks, was looking at a injector puller but been told a heel bar will work if careful.

How did you clean up where the bottom copper washer sits?

Anybody got anything else to add?

Thanks.

Pete.

I used a small pry bar, and have also removed them with an Allen key.

well its all changed now and running on all 5 cylinders again now. Now just to keep a eye on the oil level and hope it doesn't rise! Anybody know how long it normally takes to show?
