anyone know where you can buy the air intakes that fit the defender but look like the disco 3 / 4 intakes.
similar to what appear to be on the overfinch models.......I perhaps should ask overfinch but suspect they won't sell them by themselves (or if they do at a huge cost)? |

AB parts are the direct supplier of kbx and afaik they are the cheapest as well.

I personally would not fit a snorkle (intake killer) unless needed for its real purpose, they kill the air path and restrict massivly. You seg a simlar effect by putting a sponge in yuor mouth

i was thinking of the intake only (side vent) and not a raised intake (snorkel)..... |

You need something with as least resistance as possibile, the KBX stuff does look good but they are very restrictive. wire mesh style would be the best flowing option.

Thats my point, the standard one is about as best you will get for efficency without going to full fine wire mesh version.
