Just opened door by fob and the interior lights both came ON and lockeD via fob and no alarm, re-locked it and no lights working and two beeps of the horn when locking. Interior roof lights don't work on manual or auto. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Have a look at fuse 30, 10amp under the steering column. Also check the grey plug connection in the 10AS for corrosion, and since you have it disconnected spray an electrical contact cleaner into the plug and 10AS ends before reconnecting. Below are the grey plug pin connections and the wiring diagrams for the interior lights and switch sensors. You can test the switch sensors are working by using a DMM, set in the 12v dc range and also coat the contacts in contact cleaner before reconnecting. Thumbs Up

Checked the continuity of the bonnet switch and it has continuity and is operating OK. Multiplug clean and dry. Alarm is now beeping twice every 15 minutes..... 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

This is driving me bonkers now... Alarm occasionaly sets without the horn but it also sometimes goes off full time. Interior lights sometimes flicker when the switch is in the ON position. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Had this happen to my 2012 the first week of ownership. The dealer found the passanger door switch was not being depressed all the way when the door was shut. The switch itself was good just not enough displacement to the plunger when the door was closed. Symptoms included flickering dome light, especially on bumps. All he had to do was screw the adjuster out a few turns until there was a positive disconnect when the door was shut. Hope it is that simple for you,
ciao James

Had the interior door switches out and cleaned and they are working as they should be. Cant figure out why the interiors are not even working in the ON position.
No adjustment on my door switches but are all opening fully. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Go back to basics. Is there a live and earth at the lights, if not is there a live and earth at the pin switches (check continuity between bulb and switch) if nothing at switch check live and earth at fuse then continuity between fuse and switch and so on and so on. Something is going to be amiss somewhere along the line.
