2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Tonga Green

Thinner & LED rear window brake light?

The LED light I would really like is a rear window (safari door) break light to replace the monstrous, vision-inhibiting OE lump.

Are there any after market units which are slimmer, LED or alternately one designed for another vehicle that could replace LR's mini monolith. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Tim at Mobile centre was developing one, but I don't know how far it's got.

Mid of next week, i got alot on with the vehicle tuning and other bits, even painting a 90 matt black

I think slim as in not in a deep box hanging off the window, but covering the area the standard one does.
Or a replacement light like this to fit in the space, not the lens just the led board.

Like that shape. I want to reduce window area used.

LED tube that runs round the window perimeter, that would be cool.

I'm still waiting for someone to introduce deceleration warning, so engine braking/reduction in speed triggers a stop light, in addition to brake useage.
