Does seem a bit much. People get lesser sentences for assault, theft and allsorts.

Perhaps, and quite rightly, the courts are finally giving proper sentences for people who are generally a PITA to "show others" what will happen??

I can vouch for this.... I got a £1007 fine a few years back for breach of the peace, simply from the allegations of the other bloke (although for some reason, he did have a bleeding lip Whistle Whistle )

Taught me a lesson....

It probably wouldn't have been such a big sentence if he hadn't a) done it twice; and b) pulled the taunting-note stunt. And whilst it's not relevant to this case, he does have 'previous'. Bloke is a weapons-grade bell end (if you'll pardon my French). 2013 Defender 110 XS DCPU
