"UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. "OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car. "HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence. "TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you. |

Having just spoken to LR, they inform me that they did try a spell when all trim levels inc XS came with rubber mats but there was an outcry from customers so they have now reverted back to carpet
The only surefire way to find out would be to call the supplying dealer and ask them to check - they will be able to log onto the LR system and it will tell them - don't be fobbed off by them saying the system won't tell them as it will "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. "OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car. "HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence. "TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you. |

I did search and read the threads. As explained in my original post I was looking for photos to show how the XS now looks. Japseroony. Thanks for that. Very clear. So after all that it seems carpets are back. |

Yes, but I think it depends on when your vehicle was ordered so would check with the dealer "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. "OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car. "HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence. "TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you. |

Permium seats are available on any Defender now so that really is not important and not relevent to carpet or no carpet - the trim level is though such as XS etc  Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. I though best to point out they are Prem Seats before some one comments on the stitching being different to theirs!

I like them, I like the shape of them and find they fit me well.
Given the choice I would have them but I find the normal ones supportive enough for me so wouldnt necessarily be fussed if I didnt have them. If you do find a set for yours be aware the stitching on the rear seats is very slightly different so that it matches. |
