2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Stornoway Grey

LLOYD LAND ROVER KELSO

Lloyds Land Rover, this is where I have bought a Freelander HSE SD4 two years ago and a 110 XS Utility a years ago. With those dates in mind I contacted them last week to arrange servicing for the two vehicles. I got the quotes for them both and was rather shocked with the prices. I then contacted Pentland Edinburgh to get quotes and they came back £150 cheaper than Lloyds. I found this rather annoying as I bought the two vehicles from Lloyds but they wanted to charge me £150 more. I then contacted the service department and got one of the most unhelpful people on earth and all he could say was that was the price, he did not even offer to look into it for me. Do these companies not realise that after they sell us a car the only point of contact for us is their service departments and to get someone there that does the bare minimum is not a winning plan if they want to keep our custom in the future.
Pentland have one review on here and it is not great but I feel I need to give them a chance.
Conclusion Lloyds Kelso have a good sales department but a terrible service department. 2.2 2012 110 utility Orkney Grey

I'd pen a letter to the dealer principle, and just let him know that you'll be moving your service custome elsewhere due to the cost and unhelpfullness of the service staff.
