Well todays progress- wired in the sub/amp, drilled a 20mm hole in the rear bulkhead, used a genuine lr grommet and run the wires through. All i need to do now is fix down the fuse block behind the seat and tidy up the wires with some plastic sleeving and the stick on tie downs to keep the wires nice and tight and hidden.

I'd have had the dash & passenger handle black stitched as white will soil. If the thread is teflon it might be OK for wiping clean... Chris - It probably won't fail unless you try to kill it. And frankly you'll kill your hearing first probably instead. If you see any signs of melting though I certainly would then! And your welcome to the advice mate. Told you that you wouldn't need half of the wires.

Chris - In that photo above where did you earth it? Was it a seat bolt you said? Regardless you see the small bolts on that lip in the photo that was where I earthed mine and I checked that was a good earthing point as well. (the bolt just below the yellow wire) Might be easier if you earth it there on the bulkhead side so if you have to take seats out or anything you don't have to mess about with earth wires hanging around. ![]() ___\⭐️Lone|Star|State/___ ____\We|Will|Win/___ ____/🇬🇧🇺🇸\____ _//*⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰*\\_ |

Ah I see. Don't worry then unless you wanted too. I thought you meant one of the bolts holding the seat frame.
