Sniper easy fit car alarm

Just found this on tinterweb from a company called sniper automotive so i phoned them up and had a chat and the standard alarm is about £25 at most but they said they can offer a battery back up version for an extra £15 looking at what you get it all looks very compact and easily fitted in a tight space where a thief cant cut the wires if said area might be padlocked
Now i know it will never stop the car being stolen but if its battery backed up its going to make a hell of a noise that even befour hes been able to remove it from said padlocked enviroment it would hopefully wake you up in the night or make the theif leave it as he didnt expect it
Forgot to include it would be used alongside std alarm / imobiliser
Whats peoples thaughts also if the information is giving information out to would be criminels please edit
