Or even simply by using seating out of a LHD vehicle?

Are they different on the RHD Question

Why not contact special vehicles and get them to make your vehicle Question

Andrew - that's what I came on here to find out - hopefully to hear from folk who knew their Defenders like the D3 forum lot know their D3s Whistle Whistle . I would guess not, and will look elsewhere to find out Big Cry Big Cry

Mad Cow - we had that discussion a few decades ago Rolling Eyes . "Mountain Rescue" encompasses a defined set of activities, disciplines, training, equipment usage, availability etc etc and so the name stays.

As witness the Lake District MR lads helping out in lowland floods - what's in a name?

Incidentally we have had 75 calls this year, and I personally have attended more "own patch" avalanches than any other UK MR doctor. Bit like small people and terriers - "small mountains" can be nastier than big ones Laughing Carefully going everywhere

Please note that we only have 806 members and the D3 site has 7700 + You could be a bit more specific and ask the question ref the rear seats perhaps in Spanish, Italian, Russian Thumbs Up

Italian, yes, and French, but my Spanish is hobby/holiday only and my Russian has languished since 'O'-level in 1965.

I take your point on numbers, though, and I guess the expertise in "proper" Land Rovers lies in a lot of folk who - shall we say - are less computer & forum orientated, than the owners of a 7xCPU'd D3 Whistle Hands on spanners and not keyboards Wink

What we want to do is do-able and we do have the people and expertise etc. Trouble is it needs doing BEFORE we pay for it (for tax reasons) and without upsetting VOSA (for liability reasons).

As others have pointed out Thumbs Up there are Teams who have done similar; we have received images from 3 so far. Research continues.

Thanks, guys, from the wuthering heights of the Peak District, Wink
