1986 Defender 90 300 Tdi HT Galway Green
Project 90 hopefully.
Ok I've been looking around for a while now so best thought I'll let you know about my on going but not yet started project 90.

Ok the 90 is an 1986 van. 300 tdi with a R380 gearbox, 2 inch procomp lift, winch bumper but no winch.
That's the good bits.

Now for the bad bits.......
Rotten top corners on the bulkhead, rear 1/4 chassis rotten, rotten passenger door,rotten back door, leaking fuel tank, knackered seats, knackered rear drum brake axel, lower dash knackered, old electrics loom rotten.

So what been done so far......
Rear 1/4 chassis has now been replaced.

So now a list of parts waiting to be fitted.
N/s and o/s lift up handle doors.
CSW sides.
Complete td5 dash.
Range rover seats.
Non rotten bulkhead but it's a 200 tdi so need to move clutch pipe bracket.
New fuel tank.
Replacement back door. Now fitted.
New windscreen seal.
New roof seals.
90 300 tdi wiring loom.
TD5 front wings.
300 tdi disco back axel.
Roof rack and rear ladder.
NAS lights.
Several vdo gauges.
X-eng handbrake.

So what I'm I still looking for....
300/td5 o/s outer wing with air vent intervals and airbox pipe.
Springs and shocks. +2 inch.
Crystal clear headlights.
Winch.
Sandglow paint.
Defender front seats.

So that's about it for now. Would try and link to photobucket album so you can see what it looks like. ...but photobucket not playing tonight.

I owe many thanks to a number of forum member who I have gotten many parts/bits from them at very good prices.

Sounds like a nice project Thumbs Up Are you putting a galvanised bulkhead on or not ? An engine to TDi for!

Sadly no. Budget won't stretch that far, so will be injecting lots of wax oil.

And no I don't have a workshop, this was at my mate's place, he's just started his new fabrication company.
