Nahhh, how about some good old Leeds Uni Comtex?

Trouble with most ballistic vests is to stop high velocity rounds you really need ceramic panels over the vital organ areas. That makes the vest heavy and uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. Comtex will stop is a .47 magnum, solid shot gun, the ultimate knife, (now that is a nasty weapon) but not high velocity 5.5mm.
