I must admit that years ago when I was a "brave" teenager with no fear(or idea) I discovered that my Ford 6600 could go like stink. On one of the farm roads one particularly bad winter the snow had compacted and froze leaving two ruts that held the tractor in position, I found out that when flat out if I stood on one of the independant brakes then it would go faster! All very well untill things started thawing out Shocked

not uncommon for tractors to be quite quick now. jcb fastrac's and fendt come with 85k (55mph) box's from new, they do shift even with 15ton behind them.
