Main Beam Wire
Simple question - where is the easiest place to pick up the Main Beam Wire - and what colour is it on a Td5 - wish to run a relay off it
Thanks

Depends where you want the relay. If under the bonnet then behind the headlight mine is the off side. If in the cab then probably from behind the stalk somehere. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

As said above, depends on where you want to take the feed.

From the main off/side/main light switch up to the "flash/indicator" stalk, and down to fuse 17 & 10, it's white/blue.

From said fuses, #17 becomes blue/orange and goes to the RH light. fuse #10 becomes blue/slate (grey) and goes to the LH light.

If you were to take the feed after the fuse, then at least the coil side of your relay would be protected by the 10amp fuse/s... if you took it from the main flash switch, then it would go through a 30amp fuse, so your relay would be melted by the time the fuse blew!

Thanks for the info
I was planning to put a switch in the dash, with the relay hidden behind the speaker on the left hand side of the dash (along with the other three relays - an easy place to get at if they go wrong) then on to the D2 driving lights.
