110 DC Security Tilt
A couple of people were after some photos of the Patriot Security tilt set for a Defender 110 DC.

This is set I fitted to our TR 110 at Billing last year. Easy job, just unbolt the original sticks and replace with the Patriot version. The frame bolts in as normal and the sides of the cage screw or rivet to the inside of the tub rail. Comes with a strong full length hinge on the door and two security locks.

thank you JSG !!

Those pics answer almost all of my questions ... Thumbs Up that's what I need no doubt!

My tail gate opens down unlike yours that opens to the side ... It can be fitted anyway?
How is it fixed ? Too many drilling to do ?

Thanks a LOT! Bow down Regards
Joao

Hi, Your tailgate will be fine - the tilt cage is completely independant of the tailgate. The only drilling is to fit rivets around the bottom of the cage sides if you want to make it extra secure. John

I know this is an older thread now, but I'm really interested in this product.......can someone tell me if the cage consists of a 'full' cage (ie front, sides, back & top), or is it just 2 sides & a back panel (+door)? I can't quite see from the pics. I'm assuming the original tilt can go straight back on over the top, so you can't really see much of the cage itself?

I've done a bit of a search and it seems the cage is about £675 inc VAT.....does this include an new sticks set aswell, or did I mis-read the above?

It is sides, top and door - there is no cage at the back where it meets the rear of the cab. It just replaces the standard hood sticks and the tilt fits over the top as normal so it looks completely standard when fitted.

They come with hood sticks as an integral part - they took our old sticks in exchange. John

Keen to hear any feedback from anyone who fitted this. How has it stood up overtime? Is it noisey? Was it a worthwhile mod? anything that could be better or done differently?

Thanks.
