Hi Guys,
Today I found that my 2009 puma started to emit loads of white smoke in the motor way when throttled heavy at speed around 130kmph. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Anybody who experienced same or any ideas, please post. Many thanks |
Hi
Not that I hope it is the problem - but it could be the head gasket ( I think it is called). Check for bubbles in the coolant or check the oilfillercap for white "grease". Hope it is something else - but the only thing I could think of. Best Regards Christian
Many thanks for the post Christian. I do not find any bubbles in the coolant and I suppose if there is a gasket leak , water temp should go up. But mine all look fine. This happens when I throttle heavy at high speeds only. ![]() ![]() Cheers ![]() |

You can get this where coolant leaks externally onto something hot, like the exhaust manifold. Any signs of dried pink deposits in that area?
