But ... how do I get it back on - straight ...!!! had numerous attempts and its still off set - is it just trial and error? Has anyone got any info on where to get a steering wheel puller from for future use? To align properly. Align the wheels up perfectly however the steering wheel is on then from there remove the steering wheel and then get it straight as you can

There is a facility to lock the steering box in the straight-ahead position (a tapped hole to take a bolt). Lock the box then fit the wheel straight. Don't forget to remove the lock bolt before driving off.

just to say today was the first time I had chance to use the steering wheel puller, the wheel came off as easy as pie and no broken teeth!
This is the one I bought: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120971806484?ssP...1497.l2649 recommended Volvo V70 |
