Clunks
Hey guys,

I recently replaced the rear bottom shock absorber bushes on my 90 because they were dead and causing a big ol' clunk over bumps. That fixed that noise for about three weeks and now a similar noise is back. There is a tiny bit of play in the top bush on one side of the shock absorbers. Could that cause a relatively loud noise inside the car? Or am I looking at investigating the A-frame ball joint as well?

There's also a clunk when I push into 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear (and if at a standstill she'll roll a couple centimetres if the brakes are off and 1st gear selected). Could that be down to UJs or am I looking at a clutch replacement (Having searched the forum it looks like maybe the clutch)?

Despite the problems I still love her Very Happy what would life be like if everything were perfect Laughing

Thanks very much Geoff
