Good pics there GREENI Thumbs Up

I alwys try not to brake...just cover them...braking means expending more energy to get back up to speed Very Happy

Did you win...the Karrimor endura?

Best result I've had so far is top VET, and 7th overall.

Next year I'll be SUPER VET, so hopefully more competitive (in my class) again Thumbs Up Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

There was a guy on the race on a LAND ROVER mountain bike - didn;t look to be going too well (they don't look a particularly good xc bike...more recreational imho)

Like this (although this one looks better spec than the one I saw in the race):

MMM yeah, they aren't the best Rolling with laughter
A regular enduro rider (6&24hr) used to race with guards and a pannier rack, he was always top ten Shocked

Been going for many years now but it still gets me excited every time! Used to always do a couple of weeks in Les Gets/Morzine, but then moved to doing roadtrips around various spots. This year's the shortest trip yet, just a week to hit up the Mega. I've gone all grown up this year and paid for a (crappy-looking) apartment instead of just dossing under the lift station. Old age.... Rolling Eyes

I drove down to morzine,

amazing trails, destroyed Chatel, Censored myself on Champery WC track

went out on the Censored for a mates birthday one evening , cue a broken foot and flew home after just 3 days haha

3 months later I'm still off work! recovering.

Shame I've got to sell the TR250, no sense keeping it if I can't ride it for over a year!

upshot of it all is I did buy a nice defender 90 winch challenge truck and a ifor williams trailer to transport it on to take part in events to replace the Downhill mtbing for now! who knows if ill get back to it? 2011 Santorini Black USW XS.

there have been some seriously good pictures in this topic.
i ride an old school marin east peak over the downs these days but a couple of years ago i used to jump/trail ride.
had a static (jump bike) and a 247. dug up one of the fields at home and had 2 articles in mbuk about them! used to have loads of pictures on trailaddict.co.uk but i have maintained it so most links dont work any more. one day i will get back into jumping.
